Planning Board Meeting- David and Doris Hastings Community Center

TOWN OF FRYEBURG PLANNING BOARD WORKSHOP PUBLIC NOTICE & INVITATION TO ATTEND The Fryeburg Planning Board will be holding a public workshop on September 20th at 6:00 pm at the David & Doris Hastings Community Center on Recreation Drive. The purpose of the workshop is to get the input from residents and interested parties as the Planning Board works to develop ordinance standards for commercial scale solar developments. The Planning Board wants to understand concerns people have about solar development; notably they are considering potential standards based on the scale/size of development, view impacts, environmental and ecological impacts, solar panel decommissioning processes, and appropriate locations for solar projects.
