Westons Beach:

Westons Beach is located off River Street and consists of a large parking area, sandy beach, and calm river water.  It is a beautiful place to relax on a summer day.

Westons Beach was granted to the Town of Fryeburg on 1947.  In 2016, the Town also acquired an adjacent lot to increase the publicly owned beach area. There is a memorial at the main path to the beach in recognition of John Weston.

There are no fees to use Weston’s Beach.  There are potty-potties onsite and trash cans.  Please help keep the beach clean and remove your trash!  Also, please stay on the main beach access trails to prevent soil erosion and plant disturbance.

The beach is generally open from 6 am to 11 pm.  There is no overnight parking allowed.  Open fires are prohibited.  From May to September dogs are prohibited on the beach between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm; during other times, dogs must be leashed.
