TOWN OF FRYEBURG, MAINE
BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETING MINUTES
August 31, 2006  

The meeting was called to order and began with the Pledge of Allegiance.

APPOINTMENTS:

After discussion, Mr. Wilkey moved to appoint Ella Cressy as Town Treasurer. Mr. Knapp seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.

TAX ABATEMENTS:

After review of materials supplied by Dennis Berube, assessor’s agent, the Mr. Wilkey moved and Mr. Knapp seconded the following abatements:

Map 22, Lot 31A - $437.58

Map 9, Lot 22A - $3,300.12

The motion passed unanimously.

Mr. Knapp reported on the future installation of Cable/Video equipment at the Town Offices. He reported that the total cost would be approximately $2,000.00 less than what was previously approved to spend.

There was some discussion regarding the appointment of a Deputy Health Officer. Ann Trumbull has expressed interest in the position. She will be recommended for appointment at the next regularly-scheduled meeting.

Having no further business the meeting was adjourned. Immediately thereafter, the Board entered into a workshop with members of the Budget Committee.
