TOWN OF FRYEBURG
BOARD OF SELECTMEN – SPECIAL MEETING
FEBRUARY 24, 2005 -3 PM

Mr. Trumbull called the meeting to order at 3:00pm

This meeting was called to in order to amend the previously endorsed 2005 Town Meeting Warrant, in light of changes made to the proposed Land Use Ordinance Amendments following the Planning Boards Public Hearing on the same.

Members of the Board reviewed the proposed Warrant Articles (hereby attached and incorporated by reference).

After review, Mr. Wilkey moved to sign the amended version of the Town Meeting Warrant as presented. Mr. Trumbull seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

In order to avoid such a situation in the future (last-minute amendments to the Town Meeting Warrant), there was discussion regarding adopting a policy whereby all proposed Town Meeting Articles would be thereafter due by February 1’st of any given year. It was also suggested that hereafter, any proposed changes to the Land Use Ordinance, also be finalized and that all public hearings regarding the proposed changes be held prior to the February 1’st deadline.

Mr. Wilkey made a motion to this effect. Mr. Trumbull seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Members of the Board reviewed and signed disbursement warrants.

Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:30 P.M..
