SELECTMEN’S MEETING
Town of Fryeburg
Minutes of March 18, 2004

Attendees: Harry True, Allan Trumbull, Ed Wilkey, Val Royer

Mr. True opened the meeting at 7:00pm. First on the agenda was the review of Liquor Licenses. First was the request from Dee’s Pizza. The Selectmen reviewed and signed this application. Second was the request from Frye’s Tavern. Mr. Wilkey made a motion that the license be approved when his permits are in hand. Mr. Trumbull seconded and motion passed 3-0.

There was no public forum.

The Selectmen reviewed a proposal for the town to accept the Sadie Adams School in North Fryeburg. Allan Trumbull moved to not accept the Sadie Adams School. Mr. Wilkey seconded and the motion passed 3-0.

The Selectmen reviewed the warrant for Town Meeting.

Mr. Trumbull moved to accept the minutes as written. Mr. Wilkey seconded and motion passed 3-0.

Mr. True made a motion to enter executive session at 7:14pm for a personnel issue. Mr. Wilkey seconded. Executive session ended at 7:36pm with a motion from Mr. Trumbull. Mr. Wilkey seconded.

Mr. Trumbull made a motion to make a present of $1000 at Town Meeting and a $3000 stipend for 6 weeks availability as needed consultant fees to June Irvine. Mr. Wilkey seconded and motion passed 3-0.

Mr. Trumbull made a motion to make Richard Murray Jr. a reserve officer. Mr. Wilkey seconded and motion passed 3-0.

Mr. Trumbull made a motion, pending the outcome of the investigation, we hire Thomas Hoepner as Police Chief. Mr. Wilkey seconded and motion passed 3-0.

Mr. Trumbull made a motion to adjourn and the meeting ended at 8:10pm.
